Alderete: "It's a useful point"

After Valencia CF kept a clean sheet against Real Sociedad with a 0-0 draw, defender Omar Alderete spoke to VCF Media about the game.

A team performance

I think that the team made a big effort today. The players were all helping each other out, which makes it very tough for the opponents. We've done that in other games. In the second half we had several chances to take the win, but this is a positive point. I think that for our morale we needed a clean sheet. That was very important today.

We knew that they were in good form, and that we would have to make a big effort today to take a point from here. I think that the team understood this and were very focused throughout the game. In the second half we deserved to win, but it's a useful point.
